Where to stay in Treviso / Dove alloggiare a Treviso.

At the end of August I had the occasion to go to Treviso for the Home Festival, the best music festival I attented since now (the only flaw were the prices of the drinks and food). Unfortunately, I stayed in Treviso less then 24 hours, so I could not visit the city properly, but from what I saw it's a beautiful, clean, peaceful and cultural city, which deserve to be visited. But the most pleasant surprise (a part from the Incubus, Prodigy and Prozac concerts) was the 16th century Villa in which we stayed: Villa Tiepolo Passi. The Villa's guests are welcomed by beautiful peacocks and super kind hosts, can sleep in the what were the servants' housing which are very well furnished. Our room was probably the most beautiful hotel room in which I slept since know, I loved the furniture. In each rooms you can find also a bottle of fresh water, a breakfast set (coffee, tea and bisquits), guide to Treviso and its restaurants. A perfect attention to the customer. So, I DO suggest you to stay in this beautiful place if you're in Treviso.

Discovering creativity: La poltrona verde!

Potete trovare Barbara su Facebook, Instagram e Pinterest.

I'm following Barbara on Instagram since a lot of time and I've wondered why "poltrona verde" (green armchair), but after I interviewed her I discoverd why. There are lot of people who tend to give other people more importance than they to to theirself, but then they arrive to a moment in their life in which they need to seek out their own space and to restart their lives. Barbara did this with a green armchair where only she can seat and with opening "La poltrona verde" thanks to her passion for jewellery, which is now her profession. She takes inspiration from nature and from high-quality jewellery, which is something you can immediately see from her works, with the advantage that her jewellery is much more cheaper, because she knows that women like to change their jewellery. Her style is elegant and sophisticated, but discrete. You can find Barbara on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.

The biggest disappointment in Malta: Comino and the Blue Lagoon.

It's a real pity for me having to write this article, but I think it's important when it comes from travel to have the possibility to hear different points of view and to know more of the places that you're going to visit. Everyone who has been in Malta talked to me about the Blue Lagoon in Comino, they told me to go there and every travel site talk about this place as a paradise. So we were prepared to find lot of people there, but we were not prepared to what we saw: hundreds and hundreds of people crammed on the rocks, in every little corner of the island, every quarter of the hour arrived new boats which pull down new people, the boats remained near the dock with their motors running all the time so the stink was terrifying. The beautiful water which so many people described to me was dirty because of the seaweeds raised by the boats and the turists' rubbish. The fatal blow was the moment in which they changed the garbage bags and left the full one near our deckchairs (which we paid 30€!) on the beach. In a word? A real nightmare.
But the fact that our day in Comino wasn't perfect is not the point. I'd like this article, in addition to being useful for the people who want to go there, I'd like to reflect together on the importance of protect and respect the wonderd that our planet gave us. That day the man of the deckchairs told me that each day boats transport more then three thousands of people. So just imagine a small lagoon like that how many time will remain the same if the flow of tourists won't be regulated. I think that we can talk about drastic changes in less then a century. The day we went there the crystalline water of which everyone talks was dirty from 10 a.m. The only solution to protect the beauty of the place is to limit and control the visits to the island, making the visit bookable and limiting the rides of the boats and the number of tourists per day. If the maltese government won't do something like this, I fear that in some years they won't be able to boast of their paradisiac Blue Lagoon, and that's a real pity because it will be another beautiful environment destroyed buy the ambition and the foolishness of the men.
