Cinque Terre: day 2!

Secondo giorno alle Cinque Terre dove abbiamo visitato Corniglia, Manarola e Rio Maggiore. Devo dire che come bellezza secondo me queste tre sono tutte sullo stesso piano, forse Corniglia è la meno affascinante però è diversa dalle altre perchè non è sul mare ma è arroccata e mi è piaciuta anche per questo. Manarola e Rio Maggiore invece si assomigliano in un certo senso e sono molto molto carine. Voi avete già visitato questi posti? Quale vi è piaciuto di più? :)

Second day of our trip to the Cinque Terre when we visited Corniglia, Manarola and Rio Maggiore. I must say that as a beauty in my opinion these three are all on the same level, perhaps Corniglia is the least attractive but it is different from the others because it is not on the sea but it is perched, and I liked it for that too. Manarola and Rio Maggiore rather look alike in some ways and are very very nice. Do you have already visited these places? Which of them did you like most? :)

Cinque Terre: day 1!

Quest'estate io e Andrea siamo tornati alle Cinque Terre. Entrambi c'eravamo stati da piccoli e  3 anni fa eravamo stati insieme a Vernazza ma quest'anno abbiamo deciso di visitarle tutte di nuovo un po' più approfonditamente. Devo dire che agosto non è la stagione ideale per vederle per via del caldo e dell'affollamento dei turisti anche se è la migliore per fare il bagno. Per chi non è tanto tipo da spiaggia come me secondo me l'ideale sarebbe visitarle tra settembre e ottobre e tra aprile e maggio. Una cosa che mi piacerebbe provare è visitarle percorrendo i vari sentierini che le collegano, anche se ho letto che non sono tenuti benissimo.
Comunque il 16 agosto siamo partiti di mattina quindi siamo arrivati di pomeriggio e abbiamo visitato Monterosso e Vernazza. Monterosso era un po' meno bella di quanto me la ricordavo, forse perchè è la meno caratteristica perchè più dedicata alle spiagge e a tutti i tipi di turisti, anche se è molto carina. Vernazza invece per me è la più bella, è davvero una perla. Credo che sia uno dei posti che preferisco al mondo, per me è davvero bellissima, quindi se non le volete girare tutte vi consiglio di vedere almeno lei. Vi lascio alle fotografie! ;)

This summer, Andrea and I went back to the Cinque Terre. We both went there when we were child and we went there three years ago together in Vernazza but this year we decided to visit them all. I must say that August is not the ideal month of the year to see them because of the heat and the crowding of tourists, even though it is the best for swimming. For those who are not so beach-adicted like me I think the ideal time to visit them is in September and October and between April and May. One thing I'd like to try is visiting them using the various little pathways in the countryside that connect them, although I read that they are not well kept.
However on August 16 we left in the morning and we arrived in the afternoon and visited Monterosso and Vernazza. Monterosso was a little less beautiful than I remembered it, perhaps because it is the most dedicated to the beaches and to all types of tourists, although it is very pretty. Vernazza instead for me is the most beautiful, it really is a gem. I think it's one of my favorite places in the world,  it's really beautiful, so if you do not want to go to all the Cinque Terre I recommend you at least to see Vernazza.
