How to look stylish while traveling without wearing brands.

Chi segue il mio blog da più tempo saprà che per me un bell'outfit non è fatto dall'indossare o meno capi di marca. Infatti, per essere alla moda non è necessario spendere migliaia di euro per una firma, ma bisogna saper fare i giusti abbinamenti, saper seguire ed interpretare i trend del momento e cercare la qualità anche dove non c'è la firma (e credetemi, spesso è più facile trovarla dove non c'è un marchio famoso, almeno per quanto riguarda firme di livello medio). Vi ho raccontato spesso che mi capita di fare shopping al mercato della mia cittadina. Di solito mi affido alle bancarelle quando sono in cerca di un capo che sta andando di moda in un determinato periodo (comprare nei mercatini e tra i brand low-cost può essere un buon modo di seguire un trend del momento che potrebbe durare una sola stagione o di cui potremmo stufarci in fretta) o quando mi servono diverse cose, e così è stato per il mio viaggio a Gozo. Erano due anni che non andavo in vacanza ed il mio guardaroba era abbastanza sfornito di outfit da mare, così sono andata al mercato e ho cercato dei capi che non costassero molto, ma che potessero comunque risultare alla moda. Ho scelto un abito a righe off the shoulder, un abito a fiori con smoking (ovvero quando il tessuto è un po' increspato) e degli short fiorati, seguendo così molti dei trend della stagione estiva terminata ormai un mese fa, con il risultato di sembrare attenta alla moda, ma spendendo pochissimo. Cosa ne pensate voi? Vi capita mai di acquistare al mercato o preferite andare sulle firme?

You need to be able mix and match different clothes and accessories, be able to follow and interpret the trends of the moment and be able to look for the quality of the pieces even if they're not luxury ones. I already told you that I use to go shopping at the market in my town. I usually go shopping there when I'm looking for a garment which is on trend at the moment, a trend that could probably last just for that season, or when I need to buy a lot of things, as for my travel to Gozo. It was since 2016 that I did not go on holiday and I didn't have many beachy pieces in my wardrobe, so I went at the market looking for cheap garments on trend. So I bought an off-shoulder striped dress, a floral dress with smoking and floral shorts, all these where trends of the summer, so that I could look stylish without spending a lot of money. What do you think about it? Did you ever buy something at the marked or you prefer to buy designer clothes?
