Where to bath in Gozo / Dove fare il bagno a Gozo

Hello everybody, I'm finally back. I'm sorry if I've not been able to write for a long period, but I broke out my old computer, I've been waiting for weeks to know if they could repair it, but it wasn't possible, so now I have a new computer. I'd like to start again from where we stopped, with my articles about my travel to Gozo.
This article needs a premise: if you like to spend hours at the beach, sunbathing on a comfortable deckchair under an umbrella, Gozo is not the island for you. I fell in love with this place and I don't like to spend my holidays on the beach, so it was ideal for me. But I want to be precise in the description of the island for you, because there are not many real beaches in Gozo, but many little bays, some sandy, some rocky. Reading some travel blogs and other articles we read so many misleading news so I hope that this article will be useful for you. So, let's begin:

1. Marsalforn

In Marsalforn you can fnd one of my favourite place to bath, but attention! The beautiful place is not the little "beach" near the promenade (which is dirty and where the water is dirty too). To find a real beautiful place you have to go at the end of the promenade keeping the sea on your left. In this way you'll reach a bay with white reef where you can rent umbrella and deckchairs for 10€. There the water is clean and you'll be able to relax on the deckchair all day long. There aren't showers there.

2. Dwejra bay

I already talked to you about Dwejra here, so I won't say more. You can't rent any deckchair or umbrella there, but the water is beautiful and clear, except when there are lot of boats that make tourists visit the cave. Be careful if you want to swim in the cave. You'll not risk only for the boats, but there are many probabilities to find some jellyfish. There's also a shower in here, but quite far from the interios bay, because it's in the place where you can get the bus.

3.  Xwejni

In Xwejni you can find small pieces of land along all the promenade, but the most beautiful part is the one on these pics. It's at the end of the promenade, where you can go down in the sea using small ladders. As you can see, the water is beautiful and clear and it's one of the little place where there is deep water. Obviously, you can't rent deckchairs there, but there is a shower.

4. Ramla bay

Practically the only true beach of the island, so caracteristic with its red sand. I suggest you to rent deckchairs and umbrella, because this beautiful sand could become a nightmare. There are showers too. It's not a bad beach, but it's not my favourite for two reasons: first, in the central week of August is too crowded (while the other places I mentioned are not) and second you have to go offshore before you won't touch the bottom of the sea, and it's not so clean.

5. Xlendi

In these articles about Gozo I'll talk a lot about Xlendi because you can find everything in there. In fact, you can also bath there. There is a very little beach and you can also enter in the sea from the little ladders in the rocks. We didn't bath there but the water looked beautiful.

6. Wied il-Ghasri

We didn't have a bath here because there aren't shower there and the way to this beautiful place is long and all under the sun, but we wanted to see such a peculiar place. In this little inlet there is a little rocky beach where you can stay, but you have to arrive early in the morning. As I was saying the way to get there is really hard, the buses stop more then a kilometre far from the place, we got there by foot, but you can also get a tax or one of the off-roads which stops a little bit nearer, but I don't know nothing about the prices.
